How Did Your Dog Spend His Summer Vacation

The teachers at How To Talk Dog want to know..."How did your dog spend his summer vacation?" Was he like some of our graduates and spend time on the lake, at the beach, or camping with your family? Or should he have attended summer school?

Check out what some of our dogs did this summer and then drop us a line and let us know how your dog's summer went.

Free Training Tips Saturday May 16th

Come out and help the How To Talk Dog Team raise money and awareness for the Arthritis Foundation and get free training tips to boot. The Arthritis Walk® is the Arthritis Foundation's annual nationwide event that raises awareness and funds to fight arthritis, the nation's most common cause of disability. It is a tremendous opportunity to help improve the lives of the 46 million men, women and children doctor-diagnosed with arthritis.
The drugs developed from research funded by the The Arthritis Foundation not only help to improve the lives of 46 million people, they also help improve the lives of our animal friends. Many drugs such as Rimadyl, Previcox, Deramaxx and Meticam are derivatives of human arthritis medications.

Join our team. Bring your dog and meet Sherry and Bradley at The University Fitness Center Saturday May 16th at 9:00. Click here for more details and donation information. We look forward to seeing you there.

Is Your Dog Ready For Summer?

Summer break is right around the corner. Are your kids ready to spend some quality time with your dog? Or maybe a better question...is the dog ready for your kids? Do you have to put your dog up everytime your children have friends over or simply want to play in the back yard?

Let us help you take the "S" out of pest and turn your dog into a relaxed member of your family. Once you understand why your dog is behaving badly, those annoying behaviors are much easier to correct. We can help you become the "leader of your pack" with simple, common sense training techniques that work around your schedule.

Going away on vacation this summer? Maybe you want to think about our in clinic training. While you're on vacation, let Rover stay with us and attend "Doggie Boot Camp". Call or click today to inquire about our in-clinic training program. You can come home to a well behaved pooch.

It's a Doggie Engagement Party!!

Congratulations Stump!

This years winner of the 2009 Westminster dog show is...Ch. Clussex Three D Grinchy Glee AKA Stump. Billie Burke once said, "Age is something that doesn't matter unless you're cheese." This statement, is very relevant to Stump. He is a once retired, 10 year old Sussex Spaniel who wowed the crowd to become the oldest "Best in Show" winner in dog show history. Winning is nothing new to Stump, though. After all, this was his 51st "Best in Show" victory overall.

Stump, thank you for reminding us that we are only as old as we feel. You go Paw Paw!!
