October Pet Events Abound!
Several local events happening over the next few weeks! Anyone have a favorite or plan to attend any listed below?- Madison Animal Rescue Foundation night at Phil Sandavol's, Wed, 10/13 from 5-9pm. Mention MARF to the hostess and the foundation will recieve 20% of your check total
- Paint your poochies - puppy painting sessions throughout the day at SOCA Galleries on Fri, 10/15. 340 The Bridge Street, Suite 104. Paint sessions are $25 for 10x10s and $40 for 11x14s, with proceeds benefiting local no kill animal shelters. Unopened pet food donations, or monetary contributions welcome. Proceeds to benefit no-kill animal shelters. Also accepting donations of unopened pet food all week long if you care to participate!
- NADAC (North America Dog Agility Council) Extreme Games - Oct 15-17 at A&M Agribition Center in Huntsville.
- Howl-O-Ween Pet Costume Contest - 11-12 am Sat, 10/23. Dress up your pet and enter to win a prize at annual event. Get in the spirit with your pet or just come to watch the fun. Registration starts 15 min before the contest starts. PETCO, 6140 University Drive
- Bikers for Barkers Poker Run - ride to save their hides! Sat, 10/23, 9:30 a.m. more info at http://www.bikers4barkers.com/

- Walk Your Paws at Wilson Morgan Park, Decator, Animal Friends Humane Society for more info
- Saturday, October 30 – LifeSouth Blood Drive and Haunted House sponsored by The Greater Huntsville Humane Society
